Diddy, Keith Urban, Maroon 5, Rob Thomas, Sarah McLaughlin, and The Kaiser Chiefs! Rumor has it that Foo Fighters may also play and that maybe Pink Floyd, The Spice Girls, and/or Genesis will reform for one of the 5 simultaneous worldwide shows on July 2nd! Baby Boomers – Re-unite and Takeover! It's time for you to attempt to do save the world from itself once again – with Live 8 – the multi-continent, multi-cultural, multi-million, multi-nationally sponsored mega-show!  And it's happening right HERE in Philadelphia on July 2nd (although I may rather fly to London to see THAT show – U2, REM, Coldplay, The Cure, Muse, Snoop Dogg).

Y100Rocks.com has your TICKETS!  Oh, wait, it's free?  Well, ok, we can still talk about it, right?   Oh, we just did?  Ok.  Well, go to the show, or watch it on TV or the internet, but no matter what, we applaud Geldof and Bono and the gang for getting together to try once again to help Africa become more than just the raw material ATM for the West.  Debt relief – we think it's a good idea for Africa, and it would be really cool for us too, since having a mortgage with no job is kinda like what the 200 million Africans have been going through for the last... forever.  The fact that it takes pop stars to get this story into the press is kinda weird, but we applaud them for trying.

Note to self – do not visit Rick and Dee, my friends that live by the Art Museum, on July 1st.
